Erickson Keeton, (6'1 180 RHP Nansemond River/Suffolk, VA) a VMI signee, took the mound for the first time this season after a tender arm kept him off the mound for the first few games of the season against a young but aggresive Grassfield HS team coached by Shaun Todd. Grassfield HS ace Cody Cox (RHP 2010) started for the Grizzlies.
Keeton showed nice spin on cb and easy arm action. A few scouts in attendence. Keeton also lofted a HR at the plate.
