VA Poquoson Runs It Up to 22-0

Poquoson Moves to 22-0 in District Semi's

Coach Kenny Bennett spoke earlier this year about his team being young and still learning.

Well the players seem to be quick studies and have set a school record for wins with a 22-0 record in a  10-0 victory over Tabb in the Bay Rivers District tournament.   Among the young players anchoring the line up is Tee McConnell (pic L)
McConnell, a sophomore, holds down the hot corner and hits out of the middle third of the line up.

Kyle Crockett, the Islanders No 1 starter on the mound did some damage at the plate with a 4-4 day.
