Skills CombineJack Roberts is a 6'3" 175lb 2013(freshman)from James River HS for Coach Peter Schumacher in Richmond, VA. Jack has a very strong frame for his age and shows big arm strength off the mound. Jack is at the top of the list of top 2013 pitchers in the state of Virginia. Jack must be followed as a "national level" talent. On the mound Jack has a smooth repeatable delivery and throws from a extended 3/4 arm slot with very good arm speed. A body that can generate leverage and a well paced delivery gives Jack the ability to stay behind the ball well. Jack showed 82mph fb velocity with advanced arm side run, a 66mph cb with nice spin and shape, a 73mph slider with solid down angles, and a 71mph change up with above ave feel and very good life. Athletic and talent to be a two way player, we feel his brightest future is on the mound and is on track to be a very high level talent.
