Kevin Smith, 2013 OF, Indian River HS Virginia

Kevin Smith is a 2013 5'11-155lb primary OF attending Indian River HS in Chesapeake, VA.  Kevin is quick and posted a 7.07 sixty, a 4.87 forty, and a 4.47 home to first base time.  In the batters box, Kevin showed age average tools with ave bats peed and hand strength.  His is good on balls in the middle of the plate using a line drive swing plane.   A RH hitter, Kevin registered a 71mph exit velocity on the radar tee.  In the outfield workout, Kevin showed 66mph arm strength reading with ave hs carry on his throws.  Defensive skills are still developing and appeared age average.   A 2013 that is just starting to put it together, with very good foot speed and quickness, we look forward to watching Kevin develop over the next few years.
