Travis McQueen, 2011 Cosby HS Virginia

Travis McQueen is a 2011 5'10-150lb primary third baseman who attends Cosby HS in Richmond, VA.  Again Travis impressed us on the mound right away by adding 2mph to his fb since our last Richmond event three weeks ago.  Travis posted a 85mph fb with good life and command, a 63mph cb with sharp bite, and a 65m[h change up with very nice feel.  Travis is balanced and shows arm quickness throwing form a high 3/4 slot, Travis stays behind the ball well and showed very goo extension out front.  We saw more arm whip than we have seen in the past.  Travis posted a 8.06 sixty, a 5.69 forty, and a 4.90 home to first base times.  Travis is a switch hitter who looked more solid from the left hand side with good pop lower in the zone with very nice line drive gap power.  Travis posted a 77mph exit velocity on the radar tee.  Named to Top Prospect List for this event.   Recruiters need to keep a close eye on Travis.  Definite future on the mound.
