Billy Nixon, 2011 RHP/OF, Southampton HS Virginia

Billy Nixon is a 2011- 5'11/163lbs primary RHP attending Southampton HS in Sedley, VA.  Billy has developed nice feel for his pitches and he continues to add velocity.  Billy showed a 82mph fb with above ave hs life, a 71mph cb with nice spin and developing life, and 72mph change up with some downward tumble.  Curve ball is a pitch that looks to be right on the edge of having biting action to it, we feel this will be a very good out pitch soon.  Billy posted a 7.44 sixty yard and 5.19 forty yard times.  Billy is athletic and is the starting quarterback on his hs football team.  Billy is a rh hitter with good bat speed and solid balance in his swing.  He showed ave hs power and ave hs hand strength.  In the OF workout , Billy showed 82mph arm strength with good carry on his throws with nice accuracy.  We see college projection on the mound.
