Joe Lynch, 2011 OF, HS Virginia

Joe Lynch brings speed to the outfield with a 6.84 sixty and a 4.75 forty time, Joe shows quickness that can be used on the base paths as well as in the field.  Joe is a 2011- 6'1/175lbs primary OF attending Stone Bridge HS in Ashburn, VA.  Joe showed good movement to the ball during the outfield workout with good adjustments to get into position to receive the ball and then showed 77mph arm strength with above ave hs carry on his throws.  A RH hitter with a wide stance, Joe shows a short bat path and a good swing plane to the ball.  He has ave hs power with above ave balance in swing.  Overall hitting tools grade out at the high school level, and his speed should allow him to bunt for base hits and move runners.  Again his ability to get on base will determine whether he will be able to utilize his speed.
