Josh Radford, 2011 C/RHP, Stonewall Jackson HS Virginia

Joshua Radford is a 2011 primary catcher attending Stonewall Jackson HS who had a good workout and showed solid tools on the mound as well.  As a  RHP, he showed 80mph fb with good command, a 69mph cb with normal hs spin and bite, and a very good 70mph change up with nice "split" action showing good drop. Joshua throws from a over the top arm slot with relatively short arm action.  Joshua also worked out behind the plate and showed normal transfer speed and accuracy with his throws which topped out at 2.21 pop time and 77mph arm strength.  A RH hitter, Joshua showed a good approach at the plate with nice bat speed and good balance in his swing.  Joshua shows good bat speed and hand strength and we see much more power developing.  Good approach at the plate.  Joshua posted a 7.66 sixty, a 5.34 forty and a 4.68 home to first base time.  Good looking player with developing tools and strength.  Strong college projection.
