Luke Suttmiller, 2011 RHP, Great Bridge HS Virginia

Luke Suttmiller is a 2011 6'2/182lbs RHP attending Great Bridge HS in Chesapeake, VA.  Luyke has a very good pitchers frame and look to have room to handle the addition of even more strength in his frame.  His arm works well with a over the top arm slot and good arch on the backside, Luke glides down the mound to release.  His delivery is very smooth and he shows age ave arm speed.  We feel there is more velocity in his arm and he should be in the mid 80's soon.  Luke showed a 80mph fb with some tailing action, a 64 mph cb with good shape and age ave bite, and a 69mph change up with nice feel.  All business on the mound with good mound presence.  Luke appears to be right on the edge of a velocity break through.  By adding some velocity to his curve ball, he should really increase its life.  Luke also worked out in the infield and showed 75mph arm strength with athletic actions.  A RH hitter he has college level power and can drive the ball  and showed solid balance in the box with age ave bat speed and hand strength.   More in the tank with college projection.
