Chaz Tanner
Chaz Tanner is a very balanced player with above average strength for his age. A 2011-5'9/170lbs primary second baseman attending Stafford HS in Fredericksburg, VA. Chaz posted a 7.28 sixty yard and 5.10 forty yard times. In the infield workout, Chaz showed 80mph arm strength with very good accuracy. Chaz has enough arm strength to turn the double play from the bag side of the second base bag. Chaz showed good glove action and above ave hs transfer speed with above ave hs footwork. Hitting from RH side, he showed very good balance and strength in his swing with college level numbers. Chaz has a very balanced set up with very good extension after contact. Shows the ability to hit the ball deep over the plate and we see big power projection. No reason why he would not put up very good power numbers in college. College projection. We really want to see Chaz in the spring, we feel you will see a much more polished and athletic player due to maturing and natural development of core strength.
