David Berman is a left handed hitting outfielder who will get you attention with his bat. Bat continues to get stronger and David is now getting d1 recruiting interest. A 2011 OF/C, 5'11/180lbs attending First Colonial HS in Virginia Beach, VA , David has college level bat speed and can turn on the inside pitch. Posted a 86mph exit velocity on radar tee. Definite college bat and with 6.99 sixty speed, enough speed to handle the range needed in the outfield at the college level. David is simple in his approach with advanced balance and very good hand eye coordination. Simple rock back load, he can hit the ball deep in the zone and show very nice gap power. David should hit in the top of the line up in college. David is a catcher also, posting a 2.01 pop time and 78mph arm velocity. His skills behind the plate are solid, however we like David better at his secondary position in the outfield. David showed off 84mph arm strength during the workout with college level carry on his throws. He is accurate and should be able to handle RF duties if necessary.
