We saw impressive strides in his approach at the plate with very nice bat speed and quickness to the ball. Newman showed above average hs power and posted a 78mph exit velocity off the radar tee. There is balance in his swing and much better use of his lower half than we have seen to date. Posted a 5.47 forty time and a 5.00 home to first base time. Definite college tools behind the plate and a bat that is catching up, quickly. 4 star rated player.
