Coach Paul Mainieri is trying to keep his defending National Champions on top with a solid in state pickup in Aaron Johnson. Johnson is a strong southpaw with a power arm. His FB sits comfortably at 86-87 mph and will bump up into the low 90's occasionally. His off-speed is solid also. Aaron was a stand out out the Louisiana State Showcase last fall and will likely be drawing a lot of attention from MLB scouts this spring.
